Since our report in 2014 on air bag recalls and lawsuits regarding car manufacturers who use airbags manufactured by Takata, Honda now reports a recent death in Texas involving a vehicle that was rear-ended. This is the 10 death in the U.S., a phenomenon spurring the recall of tens of millions of vehicles worldwide. Injuries attributed to air bag deployment include brain, eye, cervical spine and chest injuries. Deaths have also been claimed.
