No recall provisions exist for defective firearms

Bloomberg Businessweek reports on one gun manufacturer with a history of defective products. Stories abound of gun users that are hurt or killed from unexpected mishaps including misfiring and even exploding in the owner’s hand. There is no governmental agency with jurisdiction to enforce any recall of defective firearms. Seasoned gun owners, policemen, family members and unrelated bystanders are described in this article that reports on a certain and obvious neglect that needs attention.
